Our story

A love letter to family, freezer nights and food that remembers where it came from.

ABC Dumplings was restored from its archived 2024 site with the same core story: American-born Chinese food memories, cleaner ingredients and dumplings that feel familiar without copying grandma's recipe.

Family stamp visual recovered from the archived ABC Dumplings site

Family stamp

Past and present in one mark.

The original site described a Chinese name stamp commissioned by the founder's grandmother, a personal reminder of origin, family and the right to leave a mark. The restored page keeps that meaning while presenting it in a cleaner layout.

ABC stands for American-born Chinese, but it also points to a simple idea: when the ingredients are honest, comfort food does not need to be complicated.

What changed

Traditional inspiration, modern standards.

Clean freezer food

No artificial flavors, preservatives, MSG or gluten in the restored product positioning.

Family-first flavor

Ginger, chives, tamari, shiitake and broth keep the flavor rooted in Chinese home cooking.

Modern convenience

Cook straight from frozen for a quick meal that still feels cared for.

Hou hou sik

Food as a question: have you eaten yet?

The archived site used the Cantonese phrase "hou hou sik" to describe food that is really delicious. This rebuild keeps that cultural signal and gives it space to breathe.
